Lost Tribe Sound presents our latest album subscription series “Maps To Where The Poison Grows” or if you prefer “Maps Series” for short. The subscription series features 11 new full-length albums by From the Mouth of the Sun, Skyphone, Claire Deak, mastroKristo, R.A Sanchez (Black Baptist, Pale Hearse, Tokyo Bloodworm), Lavatone, Kaya North (Caleb R.K. Williams, Eagle Stone Collective), Drawing Virtual Gardens, Civic Hall (Euan Millar-McMeeken and Craig Tattersall) and Corrado Maria De Santis.
UPDATE FEB. 2024 - All is still coming together for the last couple releases in the series. There has been some issues with our CD manufacturer that have slowed down this whole process. We had considered cancelling the remainder of the series, but we decided that would be a sad way to go out, as we have some of the best artwork and music we’ve ever done included in this series. So, hell or high water we will deliver. It’s tough to set an exact date on it at the moment, but all should be delivered sometime in the Spring of 2024. Thanks for the support and for your patience!
This is our 5th label-wide subscription series, after 2021's Salt & Gravity series we were not sure if we had another one of these in us. Turns out, the addicting combination of sharing new music we love and the grueling workloads this creates is exactly our thing.
That said, barely anything came easy with this series, not the title, the mastering engineers, the artwork, nor the words. The only idea that was solid early on were the artists we wanted to involve. 'Maps To Where The Poison Grows' is a title that works on many levels. It was pilfered from our close friend Arrowounds and his ability to paint vividly bizarre imagery with his clever titling. This series name spawned from a song title which appeared on Arrowounds 2021 album 'The Rise and Fall of the Melting World,' and it's one that has kept haunting us ever since.
For some, the word poison holds negative connotations, something life-threatening to be avoided. Less commonly, it can be thought of positively, as medicinal, a shock to the system to help reroute neural pathways, a necessary tool for thinning the veil. Both of these definitions hold water. More pointedly, the poison we refer to in the title helps describe our deeply entrenched relationship to the music, the visuals, and the artists and friendships develop in the process. Sharing creative endeavors that reside comfortably in the privacy of our own space is never an easy thing. The thought of months or years of internalization, planning, excitement all potentially being reduced to a star, a number, a blurb or nothing at all. In some ways, it's like opening a vein, bleeding out a little with each go.

HOW TO PAY:
We've created four easy options to pay for your preferred bundle using Paypal above. If you pay for the CD BUNDLE all at once you'll receive the largest discount of over 25% OFF, but we also have a 8 Month Installment Option which will give you a discount of 20% OFF and allows you to pay over an eight month period for the Series. There are no additional shipping costs or VAT, GST, or Sales Tax, the price you see includes the items and shipping all rolled into one price. The physical editions for the CD Bundle are scheduled to ship on or around Spring 2024. If paid through the installment option Lost Tribe Sound may hold shipping the physical editions until all installments are paid. No matter which option you select, you will still get a Bandcamp digital download code for each release upon its exact release date. Shipping the CD editions in a large bundle will save on shipping costs and materials, and makes it a lot more affordable for those outside the US or in Canada. We pack everything with careful attention to corner protection, to make sure your collector’s items arrive in perfect condition. Our fulfillment partner in Poland will ship all orders to the UK, Europe, and the rest of the World, with the exception of Canada (shipped from the US). Our partner also package items well for shipping. This will help lessen shipping costs for those in the UK and Europe. Import taxes may be accessed upon deliver for those outside of the US or the EU, but we’ll do our best to keep the determined value low. A RUNDOWN OF THE 2023 RELEASES:
1. The series will be limited to two bundle options to keep it simple, Digital Subscriptions or CD Subscriptions.
We will be creating 11 physical CD editions over the series, with one of them arriving as a double CD. Each edition will arrive in a full color gatefold-style CD jackets with most editions will containing a small folded art poster.
All physical editions will ship in one box upon the completion of the series in around Spring 2024. Each CD Bundle will ship in a well-packaged box. Plus, each subscriber will be emailed a digital Bandcamp download code for each album on their given release day.
2. We will begin releasing the 11 albums beginning in September 2023 and running through Spring 2024. As usual for all Lost Tribe Sound Series, we have provided you with one song from each release in the series.

• When can I expect my items to arrive? All subscribers will receive a Bandcamp download code (choice of 24 Bit WAV, FLAC, 320 MP3, etc.) for the full songs included on this preview set for Maps Subscription Series. All CD Bundles will be shipped to you in one well-packed box upon the release date of the final album in the series, which is scheduled for release in Spring 2024) All subscribers will be sent a digital download code for each album on the day it releases over the course of the series.

CD BUNDLE - This option receive every release we have planned for this series in CD format. It totals 11 CDs, one of them is a double album, and nine are single albums, all housed in Gatefold-style CD cases. You'll receive over 25% off of our retail price if you subscribe. We will mail all your editions out, well protected upon the release of the final physical edition (around Spring 2024).
